With our playlist scheduler, we're scheduling video that is being transcoded into multiple streams, each having different resolutions (sizes) and datarates (bandwidth) utilizing Wowza Media Engine. Depending on the quality of your Internet connection, the stream you see may be of higher or lower quality compared to what others see. And as you continue to watch, you may see that the video and audio quality will automatically fluctuate as your Internet bandwidth fluctuates. What we're using here is called HLS ABR (HTTP Live Streaming Adaptive Bit Rate). Because of this, and the fact that our CDN is connected directly to global Tier 1 networks, our viewers can watch the best quality streaming video possible from anywhere around the world.
